Charlie and Lola’s Plays

Aya performed in both ‘Charlie and Lola’s Best Bestest Play’ and ‘Charlie and Lola’s Extremely New Play’ at the Polka Theatre.

Both shows were based on the characters created by Lauren Child, with the stories adapted by Jonathan Lloyd and directed by Roman Stefanski.

Aya appeared as Bad Cat in Charlie and Lola’s Best Bestest Play at the Polka Theatre (February–May 2010) and on national tour (August–November 2010). She later played Lotta in Charlie and Lola’s Extremely New Play at the Polka Theatre (July–August 2012 and April–August 2013), reprising the role for the national tour in the autumn and Christmas of 2013.
